Designated Driver Restaurant Program

Attention Restaurant Owners and Restaurant Goers:
Our program provides an opportunity for Northern Virginia restaurants to play a role in preventing drinking and driving, and reducing the numbers of fatalities and injuries on our roads and highways.

When a party of two or more orders alcoholic beverages, the server offers the opportunity for one individual to be the Designated Driver. The server will then provide the Designated Driver with a sticker (supplied by MADD) and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages (and complimentary hors d'oeuvre or dessert if the restaurant chooses).

By participating in Northern Virginia MADD's Designated Driver program restaurants allow their patrons to feel more comfortable consuming alcohol when they know they have safe and reliable transportation home.
